Thank you to all the Taste Quest supporters who made our first ever FARMERS MARKET SCAVENGER HUNT possible…nay, AWESOME! In spite of the nasty weather, OctoberQuest was a ton of fun. 26 kids participated in the Market Hunt IN THE RAIN! Way to go guys!
One of our participating vendors, Maid N’ Meadows, brought their kids to participate, and they said this after the event: “Such a brilliant and valuable force in the community! OctoberQuest was such a blast and was a wonderful opportunity for our children to meet their local farmers face to face!” Thank you for those kind words!
A special thanks to Hank Delvin and Leah Benjamin, the leaders of the Richland Park Farmers Market, for being so wonderful. Thanks to the Richland Park Library for serving as our “wild card” hunt destination! Thank you Jilah Kalil of Cooking Up for your cooking demo! Big Thanks to Subculture Cafe for their generous gift towards our prizes! And to SureMark Signs for their gift of gorgeous work!
And now for the photos, courtesy of Christine Burkle…enjoy!
